Happy Hats

On November 20, 2017, at just one year & 9 days, the world lost a beautiful little boy with the biggest, brightest smile. From Caiden's Crusaders, Happy Hats was born.

A simple concept: Collect Happy Hats to be donated to pediatric oncology floors. A simple mission: to put a big, bright smile on the face of a child facing what no child should ever face.

In 2017, through our collection boxes and the Merrimac Santa Parade, we had collected far more hats than we could have imagined. The hats were donated to local pediatric oncology units and children’s service organizations.

We promised to keep Caiden's memory alive and we ask you to help us do just that. We are once again asking for Happy Hats and mittens to be donated to children battling unthinkable disease.

Just as we did last year, we will also donate hats this year to local children’s service organizations.

We welcome any type of warm hat, but we would especially love to receive silly hats, fun hats, hand knitted or crocheted hats and mittens. We can collect locally or via drop off boxes, as well as through these mailing addresses:
